Almost an Adult

This is the only praying mantis I know the whereabouts of at present. It is a nymph in the fifth instar. A couple of good meals and it will emerge as an adult. Note the well developed rudimentary wings and wing cases. They remind me of the wings on sycamore seeds. The nymph is easily identified as an individual because the left antenna is damaged. I’m hoping to see how it looks after the change.
