Sitting Out The Storm

Really, the only storm I want at the moment is sat in the garage. But Ciara is in full throat out there and once the horizontal rain let up a bit I felt I had to go say hello to her. The garden fence is down in part again, so I have another job to do once the weather improves. In the meantime here's the old oak at the top of the village, bearing the brunt of yet another storm. How many he must have seen, and how many farmers and other folk have sought shelter in his hollow interior over perhaps eight hundred years...?
