After the sauna

A dip in the cold sea ( well, some splashing..) after the hot sauna for Cathy and Judith..4:30 time arranged on the ferry yesterday .     At 4:05 we lost power but the sauna is wood fired so we all had a good time ...these two were brave enuf to go barefoot! to the water down stone steps right next to the dock ( extra) while I took their photo. (I had another photo I was going to blip but this was too good ..almost no one ever really goes to the sea... and I can do it from the phone).   In the summer the tide is usually very high at this hour so it’s easy ( if you are brave) to go in.  However we cant have fires when it’s too dry.    Of course now we can’t take a shower with no power.... H is getting the generator set up now but I think it will be back on tonight. .. the problem is on Galiano.    Thinking toasted cheese for dinner.  ( our stovetop is propane)
Extra...Also added granddaughter Tatum in black sequins and 3 friends who all got ready for their winter dance together (different high school than Nik).  These 4 went together with some guys in tuxes to the dance.   We never had dresses like this in HS!
