MonoMonday316 After the storm

It has been a bit of stretch to make this fit with today's theme of Looking In, set by this month's host 60Plus but I can say that it was nice to be looking into the forest, rather than staring out of the window at yesterday's storm.
The sky was even blue when we woke this morning and so I Zeus09smum and Zeus set out for a very decent walk before the rain returned around 1pm.  The wind was still gusty but certainly nothing like yesterday and there were  plenty of fallen branches en route as evidence of  Storm Ciara's  strength.
We left just one of our garden renovation team working in the front drive, taking up the old paving, ready for the new,  The others were elsewhere repairing fences blown down yesterday.
