Lettuce.

I dreamt that I was perturbed by a packet of ground coffee running low. In the dream I wasn’t at any risk of being unable to drink coffee, nor under any imminent threat from water shortages, electricity cuts or cockroach infestations, all of which are more plausible scenarios than running out of coffee. Who in their right mind allows their sleep to be disturbed by such a trivial matter? A rhetorical question to which responses are not necessarily required.

Today was mostly spent on calls with the UK office, inching our way forward on certain ideas and initiatives. I left the office as the light was fading and stopped by this nice lofty vantage point.

I also made two keen observations when eating lunch:

1. lettuce in Mozambique tends to last such a short amount of time that it’s pointless to buy unless blackened leaves are your thing
2. tuna juice that spills out of a container onto everything else is one of the most minging things ever
