I was woken at midnight by Mr RIU who wanted me to take him to A&E as his pain had worsened.  I wasn't best pleased as I been suggesting for 2 days that it needed more investigation.

Whilst he got himself to the car VERY slowly, I put on my running kit, imagining that we may be some time.  I got home just in time to get to parkrun and enjoyed a postrun trip to the cafe before heading back to the hospital to collect morphine and diazapham.  Mr RIU will be having an emergency MRI.
