Not as bad and worse?

Not as bad in that last weekend I emptied 2.25" from the rain gauge compared to today's 1.5"

Worse in that it swiped the lid off my greenhouse vent - extra. Fortunately it was only the plastic sheet/pane and not the vent itself and it only travelled about a couple of yards.
Just to check, I nipped out to Brougham bridge and it was nowhere near as bad as last weekend either; but the fields were just as flooded. The Eamont is flowing somewhere twixt the near tree line and the bigger Ash tree on the other side.
Curiously - at no time did my anemometer show this much deflection on either weekend.
