Anniversaries and catch ups

After a magical night in Wombat Hollow, no curtains and amazing stars at 2 am, I said good-bye to Walking Wombat and headed back to Sydney by bus and train. However plans are already afoot for her visit next year.

Quick turn around at the room to dump stuff and pick up my hat (hot and sunny for most of the day) them off to the Tramsheds to catch up with J. From France she got involved with our family when she lived in Edinburgh about 3 years ago. Today was her last day working at Garçon before she heads off to Cambodia, then home, and then back to Scotland (Brexit permitting).

Then on the ferry to Watson's Bay. I'd thought about walking to Hornsby Lighthouse, another nostalgia trip recalling 2006, but I opted for a WhatsApp call by the beach to the chickenpox struck Olivia and a pink gin overlooking the Harbour.

Back via bus to enable a trip to the top of the Sydney Sky Tower. Saw 2 cruise ships leave port. The large Carnival one had left during the pink gin.

Swithered about where to eat, back in Zetland or by the water, but after a longer walk than I expected I'm enjoying pink wine and a view of the illuminated Harbour Bridge. I am so lucky.

And anniversaries - one of a snowy day 42 years ago and a more recent one - 4 years ago Blip CIC. Happy blipday, Blip and Happy Joe Tree day, blippers! (For newer blippers Joe Tree had the idea and founded the original site).
