Moss In The Sunshine

I spent a while packing and labelling some fabric for Mrs madwill - some new stock arrived yesterday and we are at the Quilt Show in Harrogate this weekend - hopefully we can sell some of it!

Also had to clean out the guinea pig guests - trying to catch them was fun! I will have to traumatise them again tomorrow so that I can take put them in the transport cage to take them home.

Out with the dogs - quite nice and sunny but a very stiff cold wind! I liked this little clump of moss clinging to the fence, caught nicely in the sunlight. To the right you can see the shadow of the fence on the grass.

Spent the afternoon at the studio getting all the display kit ready for the show - also got a lot of bolts of fabric packed into bags ready to transport on Thursday.

Made a batch of stock with the chicken carcass from Sunday dinner - will be having a curry for tea using some of the stock and leftover meat. Made a chicken, ham and leek pie for tea last night - and there is still some meat for a sandwich or two. A big old bird it was.
