The Old Forge (Tuesday 18th February 2020)

Dennis didn't blow away all the plum blossom, so I leapt out to catch what was left before it disappeared during a break in the weather this afternoon.

Looks better in Large.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Beach Boys: Good Vibrations (Stereo with Isolated Master Vocal) (recorded from 18 February 1966 over 6 months in various studios beginning with Gold Star, Hollywood CA)
I have posted mono and stereo mixes of Good Vibrations before, but this an unofficial mix that builds on the official 2012 "Extraction" stereo mix, created by IHeartMikeLove in 2017, showing how technology improves at an amazing rate. At the time the master was mixed to mono and since then some of the vocal tracks that were used in the mix have become lost.
There are extensive notes about this recreation on the You Tube link page.
According to the AFM sheet, non-Beach Boys personnel on this session included: Billy Strange (guitar), Paul Tanner (electro theremin), Steve Douglas (sax), Plas Johnson (sax), Jay Migliori (sax), Larry Knechtel (kbds), Don Randi (kbds), Ray Pohlman (bass gtr), Lyle Ritz (upright bass), Hal Blaine (drums), Frank Capp (perc)
