Spa with a View

We spent the day at Hallstaberget - Hallsta Mountain, at this hotel above Sollefteå. We started with lunch and then moved on to the spa. The spa offers three large jacuzzies, a swimming pool, a steam sauna, two dry saunas, a cold tub, and finally a warm outdoor tub with room for five people, if they are friends. And the view in this picture is always available, over the town, river, and forest. The hotel also sits in the middle of the town's ski slope with two main runs, so if you get bored with the view you can watch skiers zipping down the slope. It feels slightly surreal to sit in warm water and watch heavily dressed skiers gliding by.
We stayed till well after dark, and when we got home we all felt exhausted, despite having spent the day lounging around in warm (and occasionally dipping into cold) water.  It's a hard life!!
