Australasian Crested Grebe....

.....just stopped by the lakes today to see if the Grebe's were still around and they were. The young ones are becoming more demanding as they squawk for food, they're also diving a bit more so slowly learning. There's an extra with one of the three juveniles.

When the sun was out the light was blinding, so bright as it caught the ripples on the water making for challenging photography. Lovely day to be out and about.
