Fiery shades....

....and hot summer days go hand in hand.

Gaillardia Aristata Arizona Sun is situated in my 'bee and butterfly' garden. It's visited regularly by bumble bees, honey bees, white butterflies and sometimes monarch butterflies. It's a beauty with it's hot vibrant shades, leaves which can be a little flopsy in a breeze or when not watered but always stands out amongst other flowers, it's a keeper.

Thanks always to Anni for hosting Flower Friday, so very much appreciated :)

Mum and I finally saw the movie Little Women and loved everything about it. It was mum's favourite book as a child. Interesting to see a wide range of ages and just females in the cinema today. The young ones promptly got up at the end while some of us stayed listening to the music as the credits ran through, also gave our eyes time to adjust to the light before trekking down the stairs which were very poorly lit. Glad we got the right cinema today :)

Friday.....a cooler start followed by a very warm day, 30C

Have a wonderful weekend everyone :)
