Decisions, decisions!

It’s a while since we had Thomas and James to stay, so I wasn’t too happy to see the bad weather forecast - they are better outside, not cooped up due to constant rain.

However the rain eased so Mr C took them to the woods to see if there were any fallen branches to drag home. Nothing was suitable though Thomas dragged an 8 foot birch branch all the way to the moor. It had to be dumped as there was a hail storm so they had to hurry home.

It was my turn later when it faired again. James had a bag of money he wanted to buy a giant triceratops with at the village toy shop. Unfortunately it was far to expensive for his meagre resources. It took a long time to decide of 6 WW2 planes of cardboard to make. All of £2.50. Thomas was a bit more profligate and got a set of reptiles.

I made a lovely fish pie for tea. We all enjoyed it, and now the boys are chilling out with a bit of TV before bath and bed.
