PURPLE RAIN

We were going to go to Morecambe today to visit Mum but having listened to the weather forecast we decided to stay put.  I now wish we had gone, because although the weather's been wet and windy it's been nowhere near as ba as forecast *sigh* oh well, will visit again soon.

So had a day in, watched a classic Dr Who (so much better than the new stuff, despite wobbly sets etc).  This afternoon I popped into the garden to take this shot.  The flowers are looking all rather bedraggled sadly.  The camelia's are looking browned before they fully budded.  The crocus don't seem to want to open at all, and who can blame them with the lack of sun.  Still I have managed to get this to look it's true colour of purple -yeaah.  We've got a few nice clumps of purple and white crocuses (or is it crocci?? but other photos were more blurred.  

Hoping the weather is going to improve soon so I can get out and about again.  Still no complaints just hoping that rivers haven't overflowed and flooded out anyone.
