Pre-snow

We've been promised a "major snow event" tomorrow, which essentially means 40 cm or so of the white stuff falling down from the sky and making everything pretty for a day or two.

As I am now completely off snow-removal duties (knee and ankle still painful), I look at these events with a certain detachment. But how the end-days of winter - even a mild winter like this - can drag on.
