Summer Day

A hot summer's day, 30C as I type this late afternoon.

There are still plenty of holidaymakers camping at the beaches, families enjoying picnics and playing in the waves, teenagers licking icecreams and cooling their feet as they wander along the beach.

I caught up with Daughter E today, lovely to have some time together. Shes still not very well but is slowly getting better - not much fun being sick in summer.

Waikuku estuary as the tide comes in, was hoping it would be in further but we were a little early.
