Male Cardinal

The cardinals have been all over the black sunflower seed in the feeder. My grandson has learned that the brighter red birds are the males, but he calls them men. This morning he was so excited that there was a MAN outside on the deck. It was a little jarring until I realized what he was talking about. 
The extra is the same bird from a different angle.
