Snowdrops

Back blipped on 2nd March

We had a large number of snowdrops in the green kindly donated by TonyG's friends in Shropshire.

There was sun today, so although there was still a chilly wind, I decided it was prudent to get on and plant them.  I didn't bother watering them in - the weather did that for me overnight.

The little yellow flowers scattered amongst the grass in the background are some of the aconites in the green I planted about 10 days ago.  The planted bottle is an attempt to discourage the moles - they are supposed to not like the vibratory effect of the wind across the neck of the bottle.  We have a number scattered around the garden - they aren't working!

In "shed news" we finished the roofing, and W cleared the stuff out, and started cleaning up.  Tomorrow we tackle the flooring.
