Striped Up

I popped in to the Victoria and Albert museum for a cuppa. Sorry - we're closed they told me. But I managed a quick look at the mini art deco swimming pools and lidos display and a gaze at one or two other bits and pieces. That's what I like about the V&A - you can drop in and have a10 minute wander and you happen upon beautiful things without trying.

Carrying on to the RGS for the evening talk I loitered by the new steps at the west entrance to the museum- there's always shapes and patterns to be seen. Had a lovely 10 minute nap during the lecture. The full head lolling down on my lap job. It didnt hold my attention and I'm not even sure what it was about. Something to do with Longitude and William Hogarth's Rake's Progress.
