A lovely coffee morning

Today the weather has been totally foul - it has rained non stop all day, the first time that has happened for a long time. Poor Xena did not get a walk in the woods as there was no break in the rain at all, and she dislikes walking in the rain so we only did a short walk around the neighbourhood, me in my waterproof jackets and trousers and with an umbrella and she in her coat to keep her slightly dry and warm.

The only nice thing about today was that this morning I met up with Jane and Peter which was lovely - we enjoyed some coffee, thank you Jane and Peter, and chatted about various holidays and of course the dreaded Coronovirus. 

It has definitely been an inside day and I finished off the one photo book on Patagonia and have started the other one on Antarctica. 

The forecast for tomorrow is for some sunshine and dry weather, thank goodness as I know the river running through our village of Cobham will be flooding the road tomorrow after all this rainfall today, it always takes a day for the river to reach peak levels after a heavy rainfall.
