9mm Body Cap Lens.

The first time I used an Olympus 9mm "Body Cap Lens" (BCL) was back in December 2014. That was borrowed but my own followed shortly afterward. 


For a while, in 2015 it was used a fair bit, especially when Hobbs started some challenges involving wide angles and leading lines. Today he awoke my interest and reminded me it has been hidden in the kit bag for a number of years.


It is an f8 lens with 3 fixed focal lengths, 0.2m, 'midway' and infinity. I was surprised not only to have a bee on my plant but I caught it quite well. It is more a fun lens and gives my arms a rest now and then. ;o)
