After the market

I took this shot today as we were packing up the indoor Saturday market in the Shambles. So different from yesterday's image, where the sun was shining and the market bustling.

Today's trade was better than Friday's, thank goodness. I enjoyed many conversations, and based on one of them, have decided to take a short break to Liverpool some time, to see Tate Liverpool and the Walker art gallery. Maybe I should even take the overnight ferry to Dublin, for old times ' sake! (How on earth did our mother manage with 6 children, aged 0 to 11, on the journey from Argyll to Dublin, with no other adult to support her?)

After the market, we are enjoying a cosy evening at home. Kim's visit last night was too short, but we'll see her and her daughter M in a month's time.
