Here Come The Warrior Girls!

Brian and I have been over to Wigan today to watch Rugby League as the Warriors took on Hull KR. These are much lower down the table, and the Warriors looked a little complacent initially, though they did eventually get the win!

As it's International Womens' Day I Blipped the dancers. There is a Wigan Women's team, and they are pretty successful too, but they were not in action today. I doubt they have a half-time male dance troupe though - time they did!! Anyway, some of the acrobatic feats these girls performed required strength, skill, a lot of bravery and a lot of trust in their fellow team members - the players don't have the monopoly on those qualities!

The day was marred as we received unfortunate news in the morning that Brian's Mum is unwell. Hope she will be better soon and it will turn out not to be as bad as it seems.
