MONO MONDAY - SHAPE

Confession time - I have spent far too long this morning fartnarkling with "Slow Shutter", a new app on my iPhone, when I should have been doing housework.  However, my excuse reason is that only Mr. HCB and me will see the results of my domestic goddess activities whereas many more will see my Blip - is that a good enough excuse reason?

This is one of the beautiful tulips given to me just over a week ago by my friend, Debbie and I knew that they would be enjoyed until they had passed their best and then blipped, so definitely a bonus and it is a lovely shape, which fits in well with the challenge for today.

Thank you for all your kind comments on my weekend Blips - I did have an early night last night so didn’t get round to returning comments, but hope you will forgive me.  As I have said before, I may be retired, but there is still so much I love to do and although I do try to keep up with commenting, often that goes by the board - and I know many others feel the same.

Mr. HCB is a happy bunny today as he has been able to get out into the garden - this is our fourth dry day in a row, so having been away all weekend, he has taken the opportunity to go out and prune some of the plants that have been buffeted by the wind and rain.

Hope you all have a great week.

“While the absence of colour may contribute
     to our appreciation,
at the same time it is important to assert
that black and white is not
     photography minus colour.
          Not at all.
It’s much more subtle
     than turning down
the colour saturation on your television.”
