Snake's head Fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris)

Last night we got a notification that guests would be in the Lodge from Sunday,  this caused a little consternation as we might have had no toilet rolls for them.  Panic buying (how daft can people get) had cleared the shelves in town.  So we decided we needed a trip to our wholesaler.

It isn't often we actually go into Carlisle but today we visited a couple and the wholesalers.  All this was punctuated by  nipping out to Dobbies garden centre for lunch and a relaxing wander round.  These Snake's heads caught my eye as ours are barely showing leaves.

Incidentally the wholesaler was well supplied with everything we wanted.  They didn't have any hand sanitizer but we weren't looking for them.  It was however noticeable that the two couples who followed us in snatched their allowance of toilet paper as the first item.
