A day in the life

Showtime

Today Bengt and me finally had our two celebration concerts  with music by our Swedish composer/poet/writer/artist/painter -Evert Taube, a very famous person in Sweden. He was active  during the first half of 1900 and he died in 1976. Bengt chose among some of his most well known songs but we also had a couple of the less common ones in the program. The concert was well visited, despite the corona virus discussion going on. Some 70 people at the lunch show and about 50 in the evening. Particulary the evening performance turned out very well and we were both happy about the reception. The lunch show was ok but premiere nerves made it a bit more tense on our part, though I don't think the audience noticed much of it. We look forward to some more jobs now, that would be nice after all the preparations we've made.

There was another storm again today. I went for a walk by the coast after our first show and it was rather dramatic everywhere. Difficult to walk on the shore and branches from the trees whirling about in town. Not very cold and fun to experience, as long as there wasn't any injuries. My second blip gives you a poor image of the excitement.

Now I look forward to a calm Friday, maybe clearing my garden from branches and debris.
