This Boot Was Made For Walking

PD had a cyst removed earlier this week and when he arrived this morning he had a natty blue bandage.
I had instructions...…. 'Short walks'. Fair enough.
Before we went out I put on his 'boot'. He tried to pretend everything was fine and rolled about in the snow (he loves snow) …… and then ran to me. A short distance - and he didn't try that again. Idiot!.
We were back in the house with 10 minutes.

His lunchtime walk (wearing a polythene bag from the vet over his boot - which I had dried after the morning walk) lasted maybe 5 minutes.
There was no snow ……. the rain had liquified it and the entire playing fields are completely waterlogged.
