Barley sugar chimneys - backblip

B & I spent ALL day in the stunning National Trust village of Lacock, getting  lost in the labyrinth of arches in the Abbey, seeing HP (Harry Potter around every corner)  and enjoying every aspect of this gorgeous village and its fascinating history:  William Henry fox Talbot lived in the Abbey much as it looks today.  In August 1835 Talbot created the first photographic negative and established Lacock as a birthplace of Photography.

After a wonderful day and back to base we had a great evening with a couple of the family in the village pub.

Extras:  HP Arches, Benjamin Bunny & Peter Rabbit in the window and the entrance to the famous Sign of the Angel 15th Century Inn.

I feel another diet coming on!
