A day in the sun

A trip down the coast (before all the roads are closed) to that groovy North Berwick. There, we grooved about, with sunglasses on and took photos and kept out the wind (cold) but stayed in the sun (as good as it gets). A fine spot of lunch. Nothing too gentrified, I’m glad to say - it’s still such a very authentic fishing town. Just a trio of salmon, oh and an americano with house roasted coffee beans.
Home to pop over to the harbour just in time to miss the work party, so instead I followed the Government advice to become part of the herd and become immune by squeezing into the Dreadnought and squeezing in a teatime pint.
And then… fekk me!! ALL FOOTBALL HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!! Seriously? I mean, if there wasn’t rioting in the streets beforehand…. What are we all going to do? And talk about? Wednesday nights will test our powers of recall… remember that goal that Colquhoun scored? Lumme.
Fair enough once the sailing season is upon us, but this is just plain cruel. And us bottom of the league… wait a minute… does that mean the season might just be abandoned? Wooo hoooo!! Break open the …  lemme see what drinks we’ve stockpiled… toilet roll anybody?
