Two Halves of the Coin

There’s nothing like a pandemic to get the children telling you what you should do. The roles have been reversed and it can only get worse.
On the Andrew Marr show this morning I heard Matt Hancock the minister for health saying that it might have to come to grounding the over 70s in their homes for possibly 4 months. Can you imagine the tantrums we could have and then what will they do? Taking away our smart phones and iPads isn’t going to help and making us sit on the naughty step will be farcical.

However that hasn’t happened yet so I felt at liberty to have my usual breakfast at Söderberg and was joined by daughter #2, son# 2 and grandson #1 , and a grand time was had by all.

Much later I had a walk through less crowded spaces with a friend who has complicated respiratory problems and who on hospital orders must self isolate unless outside where there are no crowds.
I got home just as the rain started but managed to blip this ugly graffiti on a wall in Lovers’s Lane contrasting with the delicate pink blossom against pristine white house wall behind. Some people have no soul, but Covid19 does not discriminate unfortunately.
