For Jolang...... and the Bomber......

A few days ago, Jolang posted a picture of a Peacock feather, and wondered what good it was for.  I responded it could be used in art.   An artist, who was a friend of the family, made picture.  She cast a large Peacock in plaster of paris then added the feathers before the plaster could set up.   The plaster of paris was spread on a piece of 1/4" plywood with edges all around to keep it from dripping out.  All of this done was done within 10 mins.  After it was dry, she painted the head, neck and crown feathers.
My mom fell in love with the piece in 1966, and the found it under the Christmas tree that winter.   After my mom passed in 1987, I brought the Peacock to Florida and have it ever since.
By the way, thank you, Jolang, for posing a good question.

Has anyone found the PhotoBomber?   That Abby gets into everything!
