Twisted Hazel Catching The Morning Sun

After breakfast I captured one or two candidates for today’s Blipfoto and chose the one for today.

Early morning weekly regular shopping trip for staples, vegetables, etc, etc. Shoppers seem quite healthy with no coughing and sneezing evident. Interesting to see that people are keeping further away from each other which is sensible in the current situation we all find ourselves.

There are gaps in the shelves especially toilet rolls. Weird.

Attended the Doctor’s surgery for my Shingles Vaccination and find the waiting area empty wIth chairs spaced well apart: social distancing. (See extra)

No one is allowed in without a prior appointment and this is being strictly enforced. Mildly surprised at how many people cannot read the rather large notices posted on the entrance doors.

I was surprised to find our neighbour, Dr Forster, back in residence as he self isolating himself from his wife, after a contact with his step-daughter who has developed a fever.

After watching the somewhat ineffectual Prime Minister, we received a FaceTime call from a close friend, who is at the front of the NHS advising us to self isolate ourselves as much as possible and is being followed in other European countries.
