Skiing - Day 7

So this is day 7 of our 6 day skiing holiday!
In the chaos of the present travel world our flight was cancelled and we were rebooked onto another 12 hours later.  This was a mixed blessing.
On the positive side we got an extra day's skiing for 22 Euros, and it was an excellent day with good weather and cold snow.  The holiday company paid for the extra time at the hotel and the meals.
This picture is taken from one of my favourite spots. It is very high on the mountain, with the runs starting from right below a half circle of majestic crags. The lift taking me there is an old, slow two seater that seems to creep up across the snows. Not so many people make this journey because the runs are graded black and the lift is very exposed to the weather. But at the top - what a setting!  As usual I was here alone. My companions prefer the easier slopes and an early end to the day. Strange really, since technically they are all far better skiers than I am, but I seem to enjoy a challenge much more than they do.
The less good side of this extra day is that we have to get up at 2 in the morning and be getting onto our bus at 2:45 a.m.
All-in-all it was worth the sleep deprivation for the extra day on skis!
