Memento Mori

It seems rather apt!  The tulips have got to the stage of withering where they form really interesting shapes.  This one is from the very batch I bought, but as it was out in the conservatory it survived longer than the others.

I was a little tired by the time I got round to setting up this photograph as I’d spent several hours in the garden.  My aim was to tidy the greenhouse but I never got there.  A lovely spring like day and it felt much better to be outside.  So some more pruning of the cotoneaster to expose the structure of the trunks and lots of little bits of tidying here and there.  It’s actually drying up a bit more now, which is good.
