Flames

G has been burning the pile of logs that aren't useful for firewood, and branches and twigs that have been blown down by the wind over the past few months. They can't be left in the forest nor in a pile because of the danger of wildfires in the summer. This is a triple exposure of the flames in the fire.
Lots of work and plenty more to keep both of us occupied for the next few months. I'm hoping to get the all-clear from the surgeon next Wednesday to be able to help with lifting and moving things and to get digging in the garden.
Frosty mornings still but definitely starting to feel like spring as it warms up during the day. Rain is forecast for tomorrow, but it's been wonderful to have a few sunny days in a row. I went for a walk along the road today and saw three other people, one woman on the beach and two young women walking along the road together with a good meter between them. I crossed to the other side of the road and we exchanged greetings. Good to be outside getting fresh air and exercise.
