Social Distancing

A relaxed start of day. I (Chris) got up and out to get the grass cut for the first time this year. The bread maker came out for the first time in a while and baked us something tasty for lunch! Immy continues to wait for guidance on her university exams but is cracking on with writing up her recent project before getting too deep into revision.

Rosie is still out in Germany. Whilst her original plans to do a short language course and then work have somewhat come off the rails, she's found work and will stay out there for now whilst keeping an eye on how things develop (and routes home!!).

The three of us decided to get some air this afternoon, we went up to Wendover Woods. The car park was full but people were keeping their distance (as I think the photo illustrates). It was great to get out.

We stopped at a local garden centre on the way home to get some fresh vegetables, there was a good selection including some very interesting wild mushrooms which ended up in our jacket potato topping this evening.

We've had an evening of board games, just nice to be together and having some fun.

Edit (July 2020): We didn't have any idea at this stage that we wouldn't see Immy at all in person after this until April 28th (for 10 minutes), and it would be even longer before we saw either of them for any length of time. As of July 19th, neither of the girls have stayed over at the house since.
