Standing Out from the Crowd

I picked a good day to take off work, it has snowed all day!

I am glad I've been able to clear the snow and replenish the bird feeders several times today, so the garden has been full of feathered creatures.
I counted 16 Yellowhammers and a pair of Reed Buntings, but I didn't want to stress the birds by staying outside with my camera, so this is taken from the warmth of the kitchen.
It's a sad thing but I rarely see House Sparrows here, the troupe of Tree Sparrows are regulars.
PS Upload interrupted by short power cut - thank goodness for gas cooker, I have a haggis to cook! Hope everyone else gets home safely from work.
