Ribbons Galore!

This is the centrepiece of the new 'ribbon embroidery' tablecloth bought in Global Village late last year and has been inspirationally blipped because Justenjoy visited a ribbon shop recently and blipped a real feast of colours just waiting to be made into similar projects!

It made me want to ferret around and get out my needles, threads, ribbons and cloths which have lain dormant for a wee while in my, all too well crammed, "Tardis."

The ribbon embroidery technique is easier to work than it looks and so attractive when complete. I have a book all about it which has also lain dormant, for a wee while, on another shelf, in another room, for another blip on another downsizing day!

Today has just been very relaxed.....maybe too relaxed......but then it is weekend.

Tomorrow looks as though it's looming up to be very busy......so dug in at home after the service this morning, indulged in an exciting episode of Downton Abbey, phoned a couple of long standing friends and let the day melt peacefully into night. Won't be long now before sleep overtakes the eyelids!
