Everything New

As I've done a few times, have added a few verses to the Lent one for the day, to give context; it's Revelation 21v(3-)5:

I heard a voice thunder from the Throne: “Look! Look! God has moved into the neighborhood, making his home with men and women! They’re his people, he’s their God. He’ll wipe every tear from their eyes. Death is gone for good—tears gone, crying gone, pain gone—all the first order of things gone.” The Enthroned continued, “Look! I’m making everything new. Write it all down—each word dependable and accurate.”

You'd expect the story of the Bible to end with an ending, but it actually ends with a beginning, all the bad gone, everything made new again. Hope. A loving Creator... and Re-Creator.

Today, after a gap of some twelve years, we started homeschooling again, with two students and five teachers. My part was Portuguese and Nature studies. We went in the park at the back of the house and cut two samples of any flowers we found, with leaves, and then taped them into a scrapbook.

Please notice the painted nails, another skill I've not employed for a long time.

Gratefuls:
- time with our grandchildren, what a joy!
- sunshine, again
- the amazing variety of shapes and colours in Creation, and ways of being
