Day one

At midnight last night, New Zealand was officially in a Lockdown, the aim of which is to slow community transmission of CoVid-19. Only essential services are to continue functioning and everyone else is expected to stay indoors unless exercising, or purchasing essentials. As I am part of providing an essential service I am required to continue to work. Some of what I do can be done at home, and I am therefore working from home on Fridays.

I will label each of the photos I post with the day of the Lockdown. This was taken from the unit immediately after I had cycled in and made my way up the stairs to the staff offices. Sunrise had just passed. Work was manageable today, as the rate of new admissions has fallen back to the usual.
