One of the smaller jobs today was to bodge the birdfeeder after the squirrel destroyed it.  Amazing what you can do with the bottom of a loo brush holder, a wire coat hanger and an old laptop strap (all off shot).

Anyway, what's becoming a regular midday wander around the garden with the camera coincided with these fellows arriving.  I wasn't sure what they were initially, especially as the colouring from the back has hints of chaffinch.  Mr Google confirms they are Long Tailed Tits.

Otherwise a mix of garden work, workshop fiddling, log splitting and thinking about a garage clearout - but then (like PeteWPics) I remembered the recycling centres are shut.
