At Last

We had so little sunlight these past months that our waxed TJ's amaryllis just began to bloom.  It seemed on blip that many of them were late this year, not just here where it's exceptionally dark during the winter months.  Thanks to Anni/BikerBear for hosting.

I'm well into A Long Petal of the Sea by Isabel Allende.  It starts during the Spanish Civil War. What a nasty period in history that was.

At Holbrook Hollows we walked Timber Ridge and the primitive Bucktail Trail, only seeing a few people on the main trail. Someone is placing seashells in the bark of trees and on logs throughout the woods.

C-19
Our zip code has one of the highest number of cases in Ohio. CC kindly delivered groceries to us. SFC retirement community closed the road that runs through it today to people like me who walk through it from the cemetery to the pond (where yesterday's blip was taken) to the Metroparks path.  Bummer for me but I'm sure they're trying to protect their residents.
