Shadows.

Bad day today. One daughter stressed, 7 1/2 months pregnant, her husband is a key worker and desperately worried he’ll bring the virus home, or get it himself and not make it, worrying about his family. He can’t socially distance himself as he’s a firefighter. And his brother a Doctor in ICU at a London hospital! Other daughter scared, at home with a 3 1/2 year old and a nearly 5 month baby who is teething and has turned into a miserable baby. She also has a close friend ( been friends all their lives) who is on the wards and comes home most nights in tears worried she’ll pass it on to her family. The hardest thing is I can’t even give them a hug or give any answers to their worries, or even help out with childcare.

These are the flowers my son in law brought round for me last Sunday, they are just about still hanging on in!
