A Day In The Life

Boat Landing

With sunshine and temps in the 50s we were lured to the river to see what was going on at the Boat Landing. Many others had the same idea too, and most kept their distance; unbelievably, even now, not all. We saw a few Buffleheads, Mallards and Canada Geese in the water but all were too far away for a clear shot. With the tide out (the Kennebec is a tidal river) these colorful pilings were visible along the walking deck. They are strong and steadfast, just like Mainers, the US, and the World, as we face this pandemic together. We are resilient and through solidarity we will get to the other side of this. Whenever that comes to pass. Take good care, All.
