Rhododendron

A walk to the post office this morning took us past Birchfield gardens which is a tiny green space next to the “Black Horse” roundabout. It’s still called this despite the pub not being called the Black Horse for more than 20 years. In fact it is now a Pesto restaurant. 
We found a little pond with some mallards and moorhens on which will no doubt feature in a future blip real soon. 
This time I didn’t have my camera with me, just my iPhone, but next time I will take it as there was more than one moorhen chick on the pond and an egg which was not been brooded at all, so not sure what’s happened there. 

I think that my blip today is a Rhododendron, but I am happy to be corrected.
