Quorn Delivery

Tony did the supermarket run this morning, armed with mask and anti-bac and a book to read in the queue.  As it turned out, he had only read six pages when he was allowed in to the store.  The organisation of the safety measures was impressive and the staff really positive.  There were still gaps on the shelves, mainly pasta and flour, but he was able to get most other things on our shopping list.

Back home he was straight into the shower whilst I wiped down and put away the shopping.  We had lunch, did a couple of jobs and then donned our running gear for our daily exercise to head across the moor to take Jen and Pete some essential foods.  We waved at friends Rickie and Michael as we passed behind their house on the footpath and saw only one other couple on the outward run.   We had a quick chat with Jenny through the window and then set off home through their very quiet village.  Tony turned off to do a longer route back across the moor, whilst I chose the straighter, easier road route home, again crossing the road to pass just three folks out walking.  Thank goodness folks, here at least, are taking the 'Stay Home' message seriously.
