Snowbell

Heading up to the ranges for my walk today I spotted these bluebell-like flowers on a grassy verge next to one of the parking areas provided on my estate.   Apparently they are edible, tasting like baby leeks or spring onions. This, and the shape of its stems, give it the alternative name of Three-cornered Leek. However, as a Mediterranean import, they are invasive and it is an offence grow this species in the wild.
