Life in the time of Covid 19 - Day 7

Looking along the inside estuary of Athenree towards the yatch club from the cycle path.

Lockdown
European history is still young in this country, almost as if you could reach out and touch it. Looking across the estuary l see lands that my great, great grandfather had bought and settled people from Ulster in Northern Ireland on. Indeed our ancestral home is still there and is now an historic home and museum; it is not quite as old as the property we have in London.
A walk along the ocean beach was glorious, once again the sun is shining and it is 22°. The surf is tremendous and there are some very talented surfers out riding the waves.
The fridge safari continues, every time l find a suitable fridge and start to order it it becomes "out of stock", l have found out from a friend that people are buying them to keep extra food in - STOCKPILING FRIDGE/FREEZERS, l just cannot credit the selfishness and stupidity of some people. I have acted like a good manager and delegated someone else to sort it out for me.
