Goose on Her Nest

This evening we saw the goose on her nest and I had my camera. There were also a pair of mallards who were playing on the boardwalk. They had made a game of swimming under the bridge and then climbing up on it, crossing over to the other side and diving into the water. They were having a blast! The goose saw us on the boardwalk but still climbed up on her nest. Her mate was a bit angry at first and honked at us and came swimming up and the mallards flew in to see what was going on. The nest is only about 12 feet from the boardwalk. So much action so close by.
